I bought a bag of Marris Otter malted by simpsons instead of Thomas Faucet like I normally do, and the kernels much smaller. I thought i might be crazy so i put them side by side, and the kernels are noticeably smaller. When i ran through my mill gapped at .036 about one out 4 kernels escaped unharmed. I tightened my gap and ran it through again, but i think overmilled it
I envision a strong chance of stuck mash on friday.
Is this typical of Simpsons Marris otter? If so, I'm not impressed.
