I just stumbled across the brewing network. I'm making just my 5th batch of beer, so I'm hoping to get a lot of tips.

Hello everyone.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Thanks. What's with the hat I see in so many pictures?

So far I've made two batches of ESB, two Brown Ales, and a mead that tastes like paint thinner mixed with Robotussen cough syrup (had to give it a shot). The beers all came out really well, so I'm on the right track. This past Saturday I boiled up a batch of pale ale. It was my first venture away from UK style hops.

Dont worry about them, just dont tell them where you live!

The hats indicate they all get on the same special bus :D

How old is that mead? Don't give up on it yet; out it away and try it again in a year or three.
