I'm a batch sparger all the way. I listened to the Denny interview when I was first learning about going all grain, built a cooler MT and have never looked back.
In the fridge: Red IPA, Cider, Graff
In the Carboy: Tripel, Dunkelweizen
On deck: Hope and King Scotch Ale, Weizenbock

I was fly sparging before I heard that episode... Tried it on the next brew day and have been batch sparging ever since!

Denny Conn convinced me to batch sparge about 9 years ago and I have been doing it ever since.

I wonder how many batch spargers do it that way because of Denny... I'm moving up to batch sparging, just bought all the parts for my bulkhead fitting and SS braid.

I am a graduate of the Denny Conn School of Batch Sparging. Still one of the best shows to date.

Recently switched from batch to fly using a Blichmann AutoSparge. Love it.
