Fri Feb 06, 2009 9:25 am

I am going to brew a Northern Brown wising the BCS recipe. I need to make 2 subs. I sub Northern Brewer for EKG for the hops, and Use US-05 for Nottingham. Here is what I plan on doing, any thoughts on the subs?

Use S-04 if you're not using Nottingham... S-05 is too clean for the style IMHO, needs more esters.
