Brix refractometer pricing

I was really surprised at the range of pricing for refractometers. I got the $30 special from ebay with automatic temperature compensation, and it seems to work just fine. I did some measure comparing to gravity and saw no difference.

So, the question is, what does spending $120+ get you that $30 doesn't?

Just a larger penis, but mine is fine the way it is.

the more expensive ones may have a larger range or better optics, but for homebrewing the $30 is more than adequate.
