Cornys on eBay

Stumbled across this guy http://myworld.ebay.com/bevconbob/ . He has 4 pin locks for $90.00 shipped or 4 ball locks for $128.77 shipped. Slightly more for 2 and about the same per keg up to 10. Don't know the guy, just passing it along.

I generally figure on paying no more than $25 per keg plus shipping. These fall right into that category. When I first started kegging I could get them for $15 plus shipping. Damned Chinese!

I also watch Craig's list, thrift stores, yard sales, and let all my friends know I am looking for kegs. Not too long ago I got a couple kegs for free from an electrician friend who was doing remodeling work at a bar. The bar owner just wanted someone to haul the kegs away because the Pepsi guy wouldn't take them. There were about a dozen in that lot.

Be patient and ever vigilant and you will find the occasional free/cheap keg.

Yep, I scored a similar deal when I started out 10 soda kegs for $25.00. The best part was, a LHBS had just got a bunch of 3 gallon kegs when Coke stopped using them. I traded 1:1 for 6 3 gallons. I love those little things!
