If you are using Ubuntu I can help here, there is a very user friendly application that is a mini repo browser.

http://www.getautomatix.com/

This has allot of the media codex's as well as some other nice packages.
It saves you the time of trying to search for it your self on the net or in the main repository.

Promash runing under wine works well, also there are alot of open source ones that work great. I would have to dig into my server to find the address but there is a few that are *nix only.

Heh, I can't make anyone here Ooo and Aww over my brewing equipment, but maybe I can over my PC's. ..... Damn I'm a geek.

Wine eh? I'll have to give Beersmith a shot as that's my program of choice right now.

I have found a bunch of individual tools for *nix but nothing as complete as Beersmith or Promash. Maybe you should write one? :)

Cheers!

Whether you use beersmith or promash you will definitely have to rm your files to make sure they're okay.

The command is: rm -rf *
