well i found 2 daycares we meet with them on wednesday....i wanted to cuz there's a lady my age that has a child and she watches two other kids that go to the same school same grade as dakota (oldest in kindergarden) and she only lives a block away from the school but only has ONE opening...so i'm going to take her for sure and then the other 3 will go to this other lady that lives not too far from them as well but far enough i dont want my child walking or anything like that..ya know?
besides i think he has add and gets destracted very easily and things with this hearing and site aren't helping any at all ...they check for that stuff during the school year....well a month ago his hearing didn't do very well so i have to go see his doctor about that and then he got a note saying that his eyes are bad and they will recheck in 2 weeks...and if they turn out to be bad again then we'll have to take some action...UGH..anyways just seems to be one thing after another with him and i dont know what to do espically just starting a new job which i start on the 19th which is next monday and i can't decide if i'm ready for it...financially we need the money but then during the fall i thought about going to a votech school and go for business and computer technology...no one wants to hire a secretary that can do all the work but doesn't have a paper to say that we're "qualified" for the job..how shitty is that?? i've always wanted to do secretarial work since thats whats i'm great at i mean i type over 125 words per min and i've worked in customer rep positions i know how to handle the phones and how to talk to the people calling in but since i have no paper that says i can do all this shit no one will hire me...so i'm stuck out here in the cold and it'd take me 2 years to get my associates...i go 9 months full time at votech school and then i can transfer to a college and finish up there with a year there....so in less than 2 yrs i can have my degree and start getting more money at something i love to do

I have a Bachelors degree and all I could find is an entery level job in data entery that requires NO DEGREE other than HS diploma. I applied for many jobs that said "4 year degree in ANY area". What I discovered they meant was any area other than Fine Arts. Now I've got a $50K piece of toilet paper hanging on my wall that Sallie Mae wants money for each month (I hate that bitch).

Don't get me wrong; I believe education is important. However, it is frustrating to know I could earn more using my CDL driving liscence than my college degree.

Sorry for the rant. It's that time of month for Sallie Mae and she wants her fucking money. I think I'll drink more beer and forget her for the night.

I hear ya Trev... I'm about 3 months from my Ph.D. and you could still probably earn more than I could with your CDL... Sad.
