Here are step-by-step instructions, courtesy of listener Andy W:

If Using Windows
Start menu (lower left corner)
Search for "Java"
Select Configure Java
Selec the "security" tab
Click "Edit Site List"
Add 2 Exceptions:
http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/
http://client1.addonchat.com

I just added the exceptions in Java, not sure why because I dont get many chances to listen live or hang in the chat now that the douche bags have movet to Mondays. Dicks.

Directions that worked for me, from: https://java.com/en/download/faq/chrome.xml

1. In your URL bar, enter:
chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
2. Click the Enable link for the Enable NPAPI configuration option.
3. Click the Relaunch button that now appears at the bottom of the configuration page.

Chrome has discontinued Java support with the latest update. So now only thing I use IE for is the chat!
