Brewing With Style Schedule...

Wed Mar 06, 2013 7:33 pm

I emailed scott@thebrewingnetwork.com because I want to brew a recipe this weekend to send in to the Brewing With Style show. He emailed me right back and it wasn't even a canned response; it seemed personal...well done Scott! Here's the schedule:

March:

American Barleywine

German Pilsner

April:

Belgian Blonde

American Brown Ale

May:

English ESB

Doppelbock

I'm brewing this weekend...so here's to me kicking all your asses at American Brown Ale. :jnj

I love everything the BN does, and especially that they do it for free. However, I've listened to the last two brewing with style shows, and haven't finished either. It's just kinda boring. What makes it worse is that I can't get most of the beer they try out here on the east coast. Makes me depressed

Thanks for posting this. I haven't seen much info on how to participate in this show by sending in beer. Did Moscow give you any procedures to follow for sending in your beer? I'm assuming just send it in clearly labeled with the style, your name, and "for tasting on Brewing With Style"?

I'd suggest emailing Moscow.

He didn't actually say. I'm sure your assumptions are correct. I'm just going to email Scott again before I send in my beer just to make sure. Good luck with your brew.

Yeah, the show is definitely a snoozer, and Jamil and Tasty's voices are very soothing. I think they're trying to make a show that will connect with the BN listeners and eventually involve homebrewers, but it's really hard to listen to a tasting show. I just want to send something in and see if it's good enough to stand up to the commercial products.
