Meaning? He still does CYBI and BrewStrong, and while the Progasm shows haven't been everyone's pint of beer, for people interested in that topic there is a lot of info to be had.

And I think he runs a Brewery now too. You know, like in his spare time.

Oh, you mean that less than 2 year old place that won a gold at GABF this year and is already needing to expand to meet demand? I SUPPOSE that I could see how that could end up cutting into his free time.

I haven't been too interested in the Pro series but the fact he is willing to help out people who are is great. I still listened but mostly in the background. And I think they are done now and back to recording Q&A sessions.

I enjoyed the show with Corolla, but I'm not a big listener of him so I have nothing to compare it to.

Nothing just made it seem that he left or something. I was a bit confused. I am still listening to the archives so I am way behind current news.

All those guys (and girls) put their heart and souls into the BN...especially Justin. They are giving away invaluable knowledge. Giving it away. For you. A little more appreciation is in order.

This gets brought up from time to time about different things & I can't say I've ever seen it seriously addressed. Sorry for the book.

So far I haven't heard a single person whine about this particular incident, or the conversation having anything to do with the free information or not appreciating the BN for that matter. More than a few folks noted that Corolla came across as a douchebag & weren't particularly impressed with the interview. We all listen to the same shows & consequently comment on them, for better or for worse. Not saying whining doesn't occur at all, but definitely a different matter than some asshat from Canada writing in about having to listen to commercials or the like. The whiners tend to either leave or disappear into the shadows pretty quickly.

Since I just got the last show downloaded, I heard the feedback this morning. I agree with Sent from my iPhone. To me, he did come across as an arrogant asshole and I also think he knew it since he was fake-apologizing for being a douchebag multiple times (I forget how the email phrased that last part). I don't think the interview was a crash & burn, I don't think Justin handled it poorly, but he did sound, to me, more of a fan than an interviewer. Whatever it was, it was certainly in a different 'style' than his usual BN demeanor. For me the only thing I really didn't care for was Carolla's attitude. Just my opinion on the segment & honestly I really don't care. I'll probably fast forward through that part whenever I go back to that episode, but oh well. You can't please every person every time with every piece & part of anything. C'est la vie.

I, for one, fully appreciate all that is the BN. I listen to every commercial no matter how annoying some of the voice actors get after the 34th time (I do skip that repetitive Forest Day crap & whenever the vocals start on a Trophy Fire song), I happily send in money either as a donation or for products even if I have to work it into a tight budget & I've got a dedicated flash drive with a few shows on it that's been loaned out numerous times trying to get some new listeners hooked. I don't want that to sound like I'm trying to defend myself but damned proud of the BN. I remember the exact moment when I realized that I wasn't just a fan or listening to be entertained while I learned something, but truly proud of the group of folks we have here. I don't dare call it an Army, cause we all know what happens to *those* threads... ahem... I wish I could remember even the year, but it was during one of the bad Mississippi floods. Some guy called in for DOTW and didn't even tell the story right away. It was his first night drinking since he was forced to evacuate his house mid-brew session as water was starting to creep in the garage. He lost a kegerator & some other beer shit. By the end of the call we had listeners & sponsors donating, but the killer was a follow up call a while later after a few semi-local BN'rs showed up, donated a bunch of time & elbow grease, and helped the guy start to get life back to normal. I was blown away by our BN Ar... Brotherhood? Or did I just offend a different group now? Shit, I give up. Spidey, calendar please. (Not that this last part really had anything to with Carolla or the whiners, but this thread needed some BN positivity! Now fuck off, you're all fired.)

2010 - Brandon from Nashville was the caller.

I don't remember the exact show, but if they were giving stuff away, then it was probably a show that Chris Graham was on and he was drunk.
