My daughter organized and inventoried my hop freezer for me this weekend. I was shocked to find that I had 536 ounces in there. Niko has a line in my monthly budget...

I finally got my ProMash inventory back on & planned a few bigger brews that will work well with all my aged hops. Shouldn't be too long before I can start doing some hoppy west-coast styles. My budget has a line that says beer & one just for brewing. Provided the majority of the brewing budget goes to Northern Brewer & Niko, I still put the propane, CO2 & random hardware store trips in there.

Too much inventory on hops is not a problem. A problem is when you have too much hops and not enough brewin'!

It is when you're craving to do a nice fresh APA/IPA & all the hops are crop years 07-09. I always keep several pounds on hand.
