Alright, I've been following this thread as best as I can but this is the first chance I have to reply.

Last night was our first out of the hospital, and my daughter was eager to show us how much she noticed by screaming most of the night, neither my wife or I slept worth a shit. Little girl was crying all night, but it's worth it, she is fucking awesome!
Hopefully we can get her into a schedule, and get more than 15 mins. of sleep at a time.

We are also fighting her w/ the breast feeding, she finally started to get it the last day in the hospital, but we still are spending way too much time getting her started. (insert sucking on tits joke here)
(also, I want my tits back )

You probably are on to a schedule by now but if your not then you'll figure it out soon. Force them to stay up during the day as much as you can and eventually she'll start to sleep at night. You don't have tits so your better half will do the night feedings or you'll bottle feed her.

My daughter is 15 months old now. She was terrible at feeding for the first SIX months. We even had to go to the hospital when she was 4 months old for her list of non-eating ailments: GURD which created food adversion which was exemplified by an ear infection.

and you won't be getting those tits back until your wife is DONE breast feeding, unless you are very lucky. My wife always said they hurt so hands off!

We finally had a pretty good night last night, not perfect but we are getting there.

And damn, sorry to hear about the troubles with your little girl, hopefully my child will be more compliant, I've got enough stomach issues for this family myself.

Respectfully, that's bad juju. Never keep a baby up. Babies must sleep when they are tired and eat when they are hungry. They will adjust to your schedule when they are ready. Do not force them.

This is parenthood. This is the fucking you get for the fucking you did.

I've got a 5yo son and 6mo daughter (born on Memorial Day). Not an expert, just speaking from experience.
