This may or may not help but Surly's Moe's Bender happens to age on both Cherry and Birch wood. I have no idea what amounts of each or for how long, but if you enjoyed the "wood" character of Moe's Bender you may want to try using both or splitting batches and blending. Then again the Bender is an Oatmeal Brown Ale so it may have a totally different affect an IIPA.
