I just had to lay off a good friend that I was able to hire from the unemployment ranks about a year and a half ago. He's a good engineer, a hard worker, a good person, and there's no reason to let him go except lack of work caused by this shitty, screwed up economy. I don't have anything to do either (hence the forum post), so I'm probably next.
Anyone have anything good to say today? Need to hear something positive.
