blueberry wheat ?'s

brewing this beer for the first time

5 gallons
7# 2row
3# white wheat
.5oz columbus 13% @ 60min
ferment w/SO5 @ 67F

After primary I plan to split the batch into 2 kegs, i will add fresh, frozen, then thawed blueberries to one half and blueberry extract to the other batch. My questions are, How much fresh berries and how much berry extract do I use? How many gravity points can i expect from the fresh berries. Thanks

The gravity contribution from the berries will be neglible. Not even necessary really to try to figure it out. Just go by your base beer ABV%. As far as extract is concerned, I would use the full bottle for a 5 gallon batch and 1/2 the bottle for 2.5 gallon batch. Fresh blueberries are a tough fruit to get to integrate into the beer. More the merrier as far as I'm concerned. 2#/gallon would be a good starting point.
