Beer pouring prototype!

Wed Dec 15, 2010 12:24 pm

Students in engineering had to build something as a project in mechatronics, this is their project. Keep in mind its just a prototype and was done on limited budget but feel free to post what you think.

Take a look!

If they want to make it really impressive, they need to program it with a setting for bottle conditioned beers so you don't get all that yeast in the glass.

I'll take one in a stainless steel model. 8) But seriously, if it looked cooler, it might be a fun thing to get your significant other on their birthday or something. I don't know. Maybe bartender could use it at really busy clubs. I'm curious what the very top of the machine looks like.

This one could probably do it. Right now it's optimized for weizen, but you just get it to stop before that last step.
