Growing Pains

Thu Nov 04, 2010 8:49 pm

All,
The demands on the existing servers have reached epic levels. We're looking at multiple strategies to handle the traffic, but until improvements can be made, you MAY see a forum disruption now and then. Walk away for a few minutes and then try it again.

Please be patient and know that it is going to get better.

I know you get tired of hearing this, but horsepower and bandwidth are expensive, so any and all clicks on that donate button are appreciated!

Punch it in it's face and make it bleed. You'll be glad in the morning.

I've actually noticed this problem for a while. If anything the occurances of disruption have been less frequent than they used to. It hasn't been too much of an inconvenience. Waiting a minute and pressing refresh doesn't really bother me. Thanks for letting us know you're on top of it.

Code is scarily the all seeing, all knowing. I'm surprised you don't just give the server a dirty look, and whip it into shape that way.
