Sam Adams Harvest Collection 12 Pack

Fri Aug 20, 2010 12:00 pm

I just got my "What's on Tap?" email from Sam Adams and they announced their Fall collection 12 pack.

Looks like a great 12 pack, and I usually can get it at the grocery store for about $12.
And better still...no God Damned Fruit Beer ( Cranberry Lambic, Blackberry Wit , etc ) that I would just pour down the sink.

Sweet. I just plowed through a 12 pack of their O-fest and enjoyed it. Sam Adams makes good beers that are pretty on spot for style (IMO). They are reasonably priced and make ya feel good when you drink'em! I will have to keep a look out for that as I wonder how their Dunkleweizen and Pumpkin ale are since those are two I haven't tried yet!

A 12-pack for $12? That's just not fair. I just saw the case of 24 at my local distributor for $35. I'd have to buy the 12-pack at a bar which is easily going to charge me $25. F--in' PA Liquor Control Board.

That looks like a damn good 12 pack. Finally no shit like Sam Adams Light or Cranberry Lambic or Blackberry Wit. Maybe they're finally realizing that good beer should go in a mix pack and shit beer should be sold alone.

What's the base beer for the Pumpkin?

I generally hate pumpkin beers. :(

Smoked malt in a pumpkin ale? Weird....
