yeast nutient added in fermentor

Brewed a 1.068 Dubbel on Sat. and forgot to add yeast nutrient in the boil. I want to add it in the fermentor post high kreusen. Do i need to sanitize in boiling water first (micowave 30 sec?) or add as is.

what do you think this is going to add post high krausen? the point is to promote good yeast growth...

You are correct. Its the reality of two days in to fermataion when I realised it and I figured I would get an answer by post kreusen. So do you think I need to sanitize of just add?

I think you are late for the train...even two days in...the yeast growth has already been completed...once you see visible krausen I can't think of any benefit of adding it..

unless you have a stuck fermentation? but not sure how you would know that after 2 days

It won't hurt to add it, though. You should add it to boiling water.
