When I brew on my own, I do two batches at the same time. One mash in the cooler, one in a SS pot.

Then when the club comes over, it converts to a 55 Gal system. Here you can see Bernie (aka Braggot) modeling the Mash tun:

Ebay. $220 each with shipping. They used to hold hand soap.

I passed on the $150 jobbers that were used for printing chemicals

After several batches using a ladder to stir the mash, and then lifting a heavy, hot kettle, I have finally built a structure. I hope to get a chance to "pop it's cherry" this weekend while participating in the AHA "show a friend to brew", or better named "con some friends to do grunt labor".

I think I am into this for $325 or so, purchased the Super Strut at Home Depot, and the two multiport burnes from Amazon ($40/ea), but using my trusty King's Kooker for the boil.

I guess I better find the leak before we start :D
