Here is a condensed version of the newsletter I just sent out to folks on my list:
As many of you know we're a family run business with baby #2 on the way very shortly. In order to have a chance to enjoy Lil Niko more before his brother arrives, prepare for said arrival, and just hang out for a bit when he's here, I'll be shutting down the website for new orders early Monday morning. All orders placed between now and then SHOULD ship out as usual, though as the baby could come at any time, I'll let you know if there will be a delay.
We're very excited for the new baby, and plan on posting a picture of him wearing a Nikobrew onesie... yes you read correctly, when we're back online we plan to have a supply of Nikobrew apparel! We'll be getting tee shirts for adults, as well as some onesies and toddler tees. I imagine we'll sell out fairly quickly and if it goes as well as we expect we will restock.
While we won't be accepting orders we will be linking to a homebrew shop we've become affiliates of. This means ordering using the link will directly benefit the Nikobrew family.
Our website will also be updated to become easier to navigate and provide a smoother and all around better experience. We have recently added Evan, a customer and friend to the Nikobrew team, and he will be able to answer your hops questions as well as update the website and make changes much more efficiently than we've been able to in the past. That's about everything, thanks for all of your continued support, it's greatly appreciated. I will let everybody know when we're back online, if I had to guess I'd say anywhere from 2-3 weeks, and if you need some hops now feel free to order them before Monday.

Evan will be doing some cool stuff though I'm excited for the changes. Things I've wanted to do from day one but have never had the time to learn. How great would it be to go into labor during NEXT sunday session. I'd totally call in. I will probably suspend the sponsorship too while we're shut down, not to fear though we'll be back.
