Hey,
How many of you use Foam Control added directly into your fermentor (i.e. after flame-out)? I have always added it before the boil to keep from having boil overs, but this morning I had to add a few drops to a beer that's in the midst of a roaring ferment (its blown out two airlocks so far). I'm less worried about the head retention issue, as the Foam Controll will fall out eventually, but is there a possibility of contamination with Foam Control, given it was never part of the boil?
