Re: yet another craft brewery to go under: sacramento brewing

I never was able to try any of their beers since I live in the bible belt, but I take the Army's word for how good they were and what a sad thing it is. All in all, we are lucky these days to have so many great craft breweries in this country. It makes it difficult for the bad/mediocre ones to survive. However, when the economy takes a dump some of the good ones may go down, too.

Literally last night on my way home from work I was listening to the show from 2008 (Right after the CBC in San Diego) where Peter was in and mentioned that they'd soon be distributing their beer to So Cal and I was going to head out Friday to try and find some.

I've had some of his beer when he worked for Bison, but never any Sac Brew. Blah, this is terrible news.

I'll be surrporting craft beer big time this weekend. Lots happening in San Diego. Ballast point Anniversary Party in Liberty Station and the Wet Hop Festival at O'Briens.

That sucks. I hate to see any brewpub go out of business, good or bad (and there are some bad ones out there, even in Sacramento). I will be sure to go spend some money at EJ Phair this week.

This had been coming for some time. A real bummer for sure. Cheers to everyone there who worked their ass off and gave it their best efforts.

I got a chance to listen to the show today and I am definately the type of person peter was talking about saying they support the brewery but not going as often as I should have. I went at least once a month when I lived by there, and still went after I moved, but not nearly as much as I should have. I've seen the errors of my ways and vow to drink more. Cheers to you peter, and good luck with odonata.
