What's up with the prices. I live two hours from the brewery in Michigan, and my local beer store is charging 13.99+ for each of the jolly pumpkins.

Is it just Michigan beer tax or is my LHBS jack'n me.

No idea but they are 10.99 a piece in Chicago.

The prices vary pretty greatly in NYC too -- but you can find the 750mls for around $12 if you look hard enough. One of my all-time favorite breweries. Their "sister" brewery Leelanau is also excellent.

I live about an hour away from Jolly Pumpkin and I usually expect to pay about 10.99 to 12.99 a bottle at my local shop.

I'd like to point out that Bam Biere and Bam Noire are freakin awesome and don't get enough love. If you can get 'em, give 'em a try! They're some great gushers :P

The cherry Roja, "Roja Kriek", they do for the Michigan Summer Beer Festival is also worth waiting in line for if you live in the area.

Lastly, add me to the list of being able to get just about any of their beers. I'm up for trade for just about anything if someone can't get them locally.

I just had Bam Noire for the first time over the weekend, what a great brew, tremendous brett flavors and sourness, completely overtakes any chance at detecting the roasted grains, it's all tart dark fruit and funk... I grew up in Michigan drinking on Bell's, Founder's, New Holland, and Dragon Mead, but I had never even heard of Jolly Pumpkin until I got out west... when did they get so freakin popular? Don't mean to sound like the popularity is undeserved, just wondering where they were when I was a little fledgling

I love their "Maracaibo" special brown ale. It is AWESOME! released in the fall, it has cacao nibs and orange peels, and is just ROCKS! I put down 2 750 mL bottles in a night and loved it. Gotta try it, if you find it.

I can get the following for $5.99 straight from the brewery:

Oro de Calabaza
La Roja
Calabaza Blanca
Bam Bière

I am new to trading beer but let me know if you are interested.
