Going back in time, and a thank you

Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:30 pm

Has anyone else went back and listened to an old show? I listened to the first Dan Gordon show yesterday, it's been almost 4 years since I heard that show. WOW how far has the BN came since them, I said BN came. It was great to hear Daniela and Jon and what J thought was terrible audio. It really took me back when I heard the opening track. "home brewers, craft brewers beer lovers.. get ready for". It is hard to believe J has made this thing work! What about beer jeopardy ? Good times. I try to support the BN when I get a chance, there is no way I could repay them for everything they have done for my beer, and giving me the BEST radio show to listen to. This is my thanks to Justin for a job well done! Yes, I have been drinking.......

I discovered these :asshat: 's mid '07 and went back and listened to every show from the begining.
It is incredible to see how much the BN has evolved, even with that hack Justin at the helm.

I played Jamil in Beer Jeopardy once, back in the day. I actually won something too. Don't remember what it was. Probably the ten buck gift certificate to a Berkeley pub that I still have somewhere.

Good times, good times...

That original Dan show was the one that got me hooked when I listened to it in the archives. Need to throw that one back in my queue. Hope they do another Dan show soon. Dan2 and Dan3 were great as well.
I've consumed all of my homebrew. I'm worried. I can't relax. Now what?

They did mention that Dan4 would be the first official "Studio B" show after they finish the beta-testing, so it may be coming sooner rather than later.

I started listening to the show first of last year. I decided last summer to start going to the archives. As of right now, I just finish 12-10-06 (the show right before the conical give away). I do listen to the current shows on iTunes but at this rate, I should be caught up by end of year...I hope.

I'm listening to all the shows from the start ( new ipod touch getting a workout )...just started a few days ago. So far there's been a guy name Wayne ( before he was known as bugeater ) who won a gift certificate, and just started listening to the first Jamil appearance show.

It's funny becuase I thought they knew Jamil a lot longer than 4 years. They definately have come a long way and for the better.

P.S. Can't wait for the Dan #4 show...the shows with him are my favorites.
