Efficiency...

Tue May 26, 2009 10:45 am

So, i'm just plugging in some of the recipes from the Jamil Show and getting some interesting results. With the grain bill they give and the gravities given these boys turn out with SHIT for efficiency. What gives??? I have immense respect for these guys and their amazing skill but why are you getting 63% efficiency? explanations?

Happens to the best of us. Or, like me, way more than once.

That punishment is unconstitutional. It falls under the category of cruel and unusual punishment. 8)

I've probably answered this question at least 50 times, so you're not alone.

For those with a copy of Brewing Classic Styles, all of the information needed (formulas used, volumes, etc) are in the Brewing These Recipes section, which starts on page 39.
I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.
