Have you guys seen the BIAB posts on the forums. I need a live discussion on BIAB and figure out should I do this as a step above All grain, or go to full mach. Justin and co need to try it out for me (and you) Could be cool.

Have you read this post?

I'd say if you know you're going to be doing all grain in the future anyways, then go for it. Unless $$ and space is the issue.

I think you're better off setting up a system with a cooler or double buckets. You can put together a pretty efficient system for pretty cheap.

James Spencer over at basicbrewing.com just did a couple of shows about BIAB. In one of them he does a brew with BIAB. It's what you're looking for. It's a good podcast, albeit dryer and without the asshattery we all love here.

Besides-The Brewcasters could never do a BIAB show- too many opportunities for "bag" jokes! The beer would never get made.

The people interviewed by James on the Basic Brewing podcast are in my opinion some of the most talented, knowledgeable and handsome brewers you could ever meet - and only one of them was me....

BIAB seems to have gathered a bit of a following outside of Australia now and maybe a segment on the BN mightn't be a bad idea.

I'd be happy to do it - or if people want a different perspective (seeing as you heard mine already on the BB podcast) I know of a few really experienced BIAB brewers who might be willing to talk about it.

If you are interested - suggest it to Shat and see what the brewcasters say.

Cheers

I've done my past 5 or 6 batches using BIAB. I love it. I think my beers have come out great and it is a pretty simple process.
