I'm supposed to bitter with 14.4% Magnum for an hour, right? Well, I bittered with 8% Centennial instead. I went to add my "10 minute Centennials" and there are my Magnums....DAMMIT!!!
Fortunately, my pack of centennials happened to be 2oz instead of 1 oz. So, I added the Magnums and centennials at 10 minutes. I still ended up with 63 IBU, but now I'm just not sure how the flavor profile is going to be since I used magnums as an aroma/flavoring hop.
Anyone have any experience using the Magnum hops as a flavor/aroma?
