I'm pretty sure these guys were friends and know each other pretty well, so I have to think Yuseff knew what he was going in to on this one.

Being on the East coast, I have only tried one Ballast Point beer, the Calico Amber. We tasted it in a blind tasting of amber ales for Ale Street News, and it was one of the highest scorers. I think I put it as my second favorite. I'll be heading out to San Diego tomorrow actually, so maybe I can get a chance to stop in to the brewery.

Do it - you won't regret it. I recommend the smaller, Linda Vista location. They have all the standards on tap and more specialties. Plus it's also Homebrew Mart, and it's less out of the way from downtown and whatnot.

I'm just relistening to the archive now and can agree the whole Triple Rock thing is annoying. It's like when my 6 year old son says something funny and we laugh, he keeps saying it over and over again. I'm sure Roger is a good dude, but enough. Good thing I was focusing more on the chat so it didn't seem so bad...and with the archives I can fast forward.

I didn't think he was really up to DTOW status until I say the Post Session video blog...well done Roger!! Better luck next week Blober.

I should have played along and pretended, maybe I would have been hit on by Roger's ass.

I didn't find Roger annoying, but can see why others did. HOWEVER, I have been thirsty for a Triple Rock all damn week. And I'm stuck on the East Coast. Stupid subliminal funny advertising!

Keep the good shows coming, boys.

Not a Roger fan (at least when he is tanked). Some people only think they are funny when drunk.

However,

My wife says I'm one of them.
