San Francisco vacation?

Wed Nov 01, 2006 1:58 pm

Looks like I conned my company to sending me to MacWorld Expo in January. It's at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. What should be on my top "To Do" list when I get there? Beer or sightseeing-wise. I'm from Indiana so I don't know much about the big city. Not sure how much free time I'll have. Might try to stay over a couple of days after the expo to see the sights and would like to get some input from the locals.

Thanks.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Thanks for the links guys. I've got a good list going. Hey Geistbier, did you find a good retail bottle shop? I'm going to either fill up my luggage or try and find a UPS store to ship lots of beer home.

JP, I guess you better lube it up. I'll be over...

City Beer store is definitely cool, and the owner is a good dude,

Also, right next to Moscone, so you can sneak away to it every day if need be, is Thirsty Bear Brewing Co. Good beer and amazing Spanish food.
