So, like I said in my new user thread, I've been brewing awhile - fully intending to "one day" switch to AG, but never actually getting around to it. After finding this site - more specifically this section, I got inspired to make the jump.
This is my attampt at a single tier Brew Sculpture...
I welded-up the frame using 3/4" angle iron I picked up at the salvage yard. I had and extra burner from an old project and the other I canibalized from my turkey fryer. The heat shields are from my brewing buddy, who bought new burners for his setup and was going to trash the shields. I converted the kegs with the help of the tutorials on YouTube, and used weldless bulkhead fittings. The Mashtun has a Bazooka-T, and the BoilKettle has a side pick-up tube. Not shown are the additional Brewmometers, sight glass, and the pump that just arrived - we were still having to grav-feed when these pics were shot.
So far we've done (4) 10gal AG batches on this setup. 2 APAs, a RyePA, and a Porter, all of which turned out really good.
