Is there a preferred size stir bar when using a 2000 ml Erlenmeyer?

anywhere between 1" and 1.5" should be fine

I have a 1" and a 2". Side by side tests left me decided that the 2" was significatly more effective in a 2000 ml flask. The 1" works really well for 1/2 gallon growlers. I've never used a 1.5" to compare.
