it may not be pretty, but makes pretty damn good beer. Normally the mashtun cooler is up top, but lately ive been cleaning it as soon as im done sparging so its less cleanup time.

I hope you have a place to hot glue the crown air freshener... Well, on second thought, the crown is so 1995... Gotta get some of these:

I voted 2 tier because it is in my future...

When I built my 3 tier system 4 years ago I thought that would be it and it would last me the rest of my brewing life. After 4 years of getting up on a ladder to put up/take down the HLT I had enough. SWMBO is getting tired of it sitting there also because it is not easy to move.

Now I'm in the process of building a 2 tier that will take up less space and I can brew under my patio when it is raining. I still have a lot of welding, plumbing and electrical work that has to be done but at least it looks like a brewery...

For 5 years of my brewing life I brewed on this.

The green igloo was the HLT, and I filled that and put it on top of the refrigerator in the kitchen. The orange igloo was the MT and sat on the counter. Gravity feed from HLT to MT. The converted keg sat on the floor and was gravity from the MT. Then I got to lug it outside and hoist it by hand 2 feet to the burner. While full. Not fun. Then I got the green light from SWMBO to build the system most of you bitches be hatin' on.

Single tier, all electric, self-starting. It's my non-ghetto "don't hate me because I'm beautiful" system. Bub be hatin anyway.
