I'll let you know when I get mine. Hopefully today since I'm only in MI.

Congrats, grubs.

I got my scoresheets back on Friday in Wisconsin. They're on their way. Incidentally, my Sour Smoked Sumerian took 1st in the Specialty Cat #23. I'm still in shock. I don't even like the stuff very much, but I thought it would be interesting to brew something historical and apparently the judges appreciated that fact. It's the Sumerian recipe "Really Old Style" from BYO back in I think the September 2007 issue. Turned out sour and smoky, hence the renaming.

grubs18 wrote:What was your total score for the menace of the monastary? Mine was a 73 for my dopple bock and I was wondering how close I got. Also out of 6 beers only 1 scored below a 30, but I didn't really like that beer anyways.

the Belgian Strong Golden Ale I entered got a 41 and then the overall score was 80.

I had a dunkelweizen score a 38 and I didn't place with it.
