Hi Everyone,
My local homebrew club is doing a big brew this weekend with one giant batch of wort and then everyone uses that plus their own hops yeast etc. Then we get together in April, go camping and drink all of the beer.
The malt bill works out to (for 5 gal)
8 lbs 2-row
2 lbs Munich light
1 lb Crystal 60
Now for the problem. Since I've never actually designed a beer, I don't know what this would be good for making and want some suggestions. The only hops I have are 1 oz of nugget and 1 oz of saaz. For yeast all I have is safale s-04 and us-05 (no liquid yeast on hand, no LHBS and i'm too cheap to pay for two day shipping to get stuff here in time). I can't make lagers or keep beers very warm if that plays into it (our house is generally ~64F)
So any suggestions on what would be a good style to make with this?
