That looks really nice. And you appear to be right that it doesn't look hard at all. I would probably do a few things differently for my personal needs, but it looks really easy to adapt.

Be sure to post what you find out. I did this with a freezer on top fridge. It died after about 6 months. I dint think that it had anything to do with taking the divider out. It had a bad fan what I got it. I used a small fan to cool the compressor but I dont think it was enough.

My thought was that you could put the taps in the top door.
