Between Code and the crazy Texan, I guess you guys are right. Chili does not have beans. However I'm not partial either way and after looking over this recipe again I'm not sure that 15 or 16 oz. of beans would lend much anyway. So I guess it would be worth a try to go bean-less! Let me know how it goes Code. I think I am going to make this soon too.

Maybe we should change the definition here: Contest chili doesn't have beans. I always add beans to my chili. And Fritos and cheese. And then I top it off with a bit of cheese.
