Hey lars, or anyone that has the banjo burners, have you brewed with your burner set up yet? Im drawing up plans for my single tier set up right now and am looking at the banjos for my HLT and MT, and possibly use my old turkey fryer standard burner for the MT if i decide on direct fire later on.
How do the banjos work? I'd like to rig them up to a hard pipe on the stand for simplicity sake. Maybe later do some fancy pilots and automajation stuff down the line.

Just did a Scottish 80 today with it. They suck gas so sit your propane tank in a hot water bath and you will be golden. At the moment I am batch sparging and only have one kettle so I am only using one of the three burners at any time. In the future I might use two at once.

They are about 4 inches below the bottom of the kettle. Work great and use a 0-30 pis regulator with the burners.

I haven't finished my sculpture yet. In fact I spent about an hour out in the garage today working on the gas set up. I've been too busy with skool shit. Almost done though!!! Just a few more weeks of hell left!

I have a similar set up. I just got two banjo burners for my HTL and BK and a slightly smaller burner for my MT. I want to plumb them to one tank, but I am having trouble finding the correct fittings. Anyone have any suggestions? Home Depot doesnt seem to want to be helpful

What does the regulator need to be set at? Also, I have a turkey fryer also, the banjo burner won't get too hot will it?

I had one but they ended up too big for my "Brutus" single tier. Thats why I went with the 92,000 btu 23 jet burners.

Man, I wish they still looked that clean



I had to brew and used one of those "jet" turkey fryer burners with the top cut off.



But that "jet" burner put out some heat.
