002 works great in just about all British ales.
Don't forget you can bitter with Target/Challenger/Bullion/Willamette/Fuggles/Northern Brewer too. It doesn't HAVE to be EKG. All of those hops will provide a nice English hop flavor/aroma/bitterness profile.

I'd also like to point out a thread we did over at the RealBeer.com forum. 'Otis' suggested we 'group formulate' a recipe, provide several variations such as AG, Partial Mash, LME/DME etc. We even got Austin Home Brew to package up kits so that you could buy all the ingredients in 1 swoop. Then we brewed it, and like the Secret Santa here, we did a bottle exchange.

I really liked the end result. It had plenty of malt backbone to balance the hops. We did it using WLP005, but WLP002 will work just as well.

This first link holds the final recipe variations:

I am going to get your stuff to you tomorrow. I was sick this morning and wasn't able to pick up your stuff. If you need some EKG, I have some too, probably too late for this beer though.
