Aweome ideas bro, now move to ludicrous speed and get onto painting those wheels and brewing that pumpkin ale!! I plan to make my brewcart out of scraps too, mainly old bed frames.

Now if you were really blessed with engineering skills and had access to a few fold a bed couchs, you could make a collapsable brew cart. Now that would be impressive. Talk about a space saver;) My mind is always thinking of ways to develope somethnig further if you havnt noticed.

I have a 2 tiered system I built a couple years ago, and set it up for natural gas. I have since moved, and do not have access to nattural gas, and I am forced back to propane. I loked at changing out my burners, and also changing my connects, and figured to set it up with the burner elements I like would cost me about $100.00. But I was shopping at a place called Academy Sports down here in Mobile, and they have a set-up for cooking large batches of whatever that is a 2 tiered system with 3 burners, a regulator, and a place for a propane tank, and is on wheels. This set-up is $195.00 and will hold 3 converted half barrels easily. So, rather than screw around with changing my current system, I think I'll buy this new steel welded system. This thing looks like a Sabco system at what, one 15th the price? I never had a burner under the mash tun before, but I am looking forward to it. I took some pictures of it, but am not computer savvy enough to upload them. If I had seen this prior to building my own, I would have bought it then. Now, I guess I'll have 2 systems.

It sure would not take much work to convert that to a full on brew cart!

I was looking at one of those at Cabelas a couple weeks ago and was thinking that it would be great for a sculpture too.

Murphy just kicked my ass today:( I woke up 2 hours early from what i wanted, so right off the bat im short on sleep. Then i run to the hardware for some brewing equipment parts, get that done, and start roasting my pumpkins for my pumkpin spice brew session. They raosted and smelled great. I get my crushed grain and pumpkin puree into the mash tun, and upon turning the pump on, nothing happens. Pump shot. great. SO i lug the water up and pour it into the mash, stir, stir and stir some more. Give it an hour whiel heating sparge water. Start to drain wort, and to my greif, my stainless braid line is clogging severly. Takes 10x longer than expected and with out my pump working by fly sparger wont work. SO i batch sparge, stir stir and stirr some more. Final output is a gallon and a half shy of target. bring to boil, add hops, wait for second hooping, add more hops, and finish boil. Fire up the counterflow chiller and start cooling. Take a sample for OG, pretty close (1.053)to target of 1.058. Chiller worked fine so that made me happy. Half way through i remembered RDWHAH, only one problem, i have none available :( I finish adding my pumpkin in the fermenter, pitch yeast and finally sat down to some frshly brewed brats and a miller lite.
This was my first run with my new sculpture, so it will take some time to work the kinks out. What a frsutrating day

On the 2 tiered system at Academy. It has 2 burners on the upper level, and a 3rd burner down low. It is a 2 tiered set-up with 3 burners. It is pre-assembled and welded. The picture is not the one. I asked the sales turd what these set-ups were used for, and he said large cooking events. Looking at this thing, it is perfect for brewing. I bought one last weekend, and Hola! they were discounted 30% for clearance, so I bought a three burner set-up for $132.00 before tax. This is a way good deal!!!!! They told me that once they are gone, it will be next season before they come back, if ever. Get one now!
