Hi Dave, I am from Louisiana. Baton Rouge area. I am interested in getting into home brewing. Here to learn all I can and seek guidance so I get of to a right start.

If anyone lives in the Shreveport area, Bob Carbone sells supplies and tips at The Beerslayer in Grand Cane (between Mansfield and Stonewall on Fier Tower Road). I spent one year in the area and learned more from Bob than I could have ever imagined. If you are in his neck-o-d-woods, give him a call 318 858 2219 or look up the club SUDS!

Yeah, the proprieter of your local homebrew supply store (or typically anyone else that works there) is usually a very good source of how-to info.
