The Jon Plise Timer

Fri Feb 16, 2007 6:57 pm

Just listened to the February Morebeer Podcast... Whats with the Jon Plise timer? Every time that poor man finishes a sentence, BEEEEEEEP!

Justin, did you forget to remove the queue editing beeps or whatever you call them in the Biz?

uhh...didn't forget. It's just a transition effect so that when random sentances are spliced together, the interviewee doesn't sound insane. Not everyone likes them, but they work nonetheless.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

I found the beep beep using in the February Podcast to be fairly obnoxious -- the January transition was much better. Go back to that one!

That is a good idea, though, for a Chicken Boy timer. I use one at work. It is called a swift roundhouse a la Chuck Norris.
