I use Beersmith.. I cant say its the best but thats just what I use. Wouldnt it depend on what you like and how easy "you" think it is? Im sure I could screw up a batch with ether.

I currently use Promash. I have been giving consideration to switching to Beer Tools Pro, especially since I found a way to port all my Promash recipes over to it. BTP is apparently also working on a way to transfer the Promash session over too.

However, I also just learned that Promash will be coming out with a new version upgrade this year. I think I will hold off changing until I see what the changes look like.

I've only ever used pro-mash, and it's great but clunky is a great word to describe it......gonna try beersmith...

I use ProMash but have been testing Beersmith out (since reading this poll) and I think I'm going to buy Beersmith. It just seems easier to use than ProMash, at least to me.

I'm running BeerAlchemy on my Mac and it's not half bad. A few too many unnecessary options (like a shopping list and inventory features) but good calculators (including one ported directly from the Pope) and a clean interface if you like things apple-ish.

Beer Tools Pro was designed for the Mac. It'll run on Windows, but is very "Apple".
