The other founder of BN

My name is Jonathan. I live in the Bay Area (Concord), California. I came across homebrewing by accident four years ago, when I met the founders of B3 at a gig I was playing, and since then I wake up everyday thankful to have cold homebrew on draught. :D

I use to be in a band with Justin some years back, and our paths met again when his girlfriend last Fall came into Beer, Beer, and More Beer to buy him a beginner beer kit.

My favorite styles of beer to brew are: Munich Helles, Oktoberfest, Belgian Dubbels, Porters, and English Brown Ales.

Hey JP.
Love the show, hopefully Justin and Doc will let you churn in more, you have a lot of great information to share.
I see by the B3 website that you have made great iprovements in your brewing by learning about oxygen and yeast starters. Have you posted any information on these topics?

PS, I also played a few of your episodes of the Jamil Show and you played The Clash's version of I Fought the Law.
You may also want to play Rudie Can't Fail from London Calling, as the state: "Don't you be so crude and a feckless, You been drinking brew for breakfast"
Not a bad motto.

Just FYI....
Jon Plise is NOT JP...... WAY WAY WAY different
JP = Jason Petros... much more Prison Tats and more of a Top than a bottom like Plise.
