I love pairing these two hops together. What a great blend of aromas and flavors. Save some for me.

Just kegged up my Tasty session pale with Galaxy and Nelson. I'll let it chill down and fine it then dry hop.

Also just brewed up a rye "oktoberfest". Essentially just and oktoberfest but I swapped out some pilsner for a pound (10%) of rye. I learned that Wyeast 2206 can take many days to get going in the starter on a stir plate. Mine didn't start doing anything until the end of day 2, and was finished by day 4 and ready for chilling/decanting and the next step of the starter. The seconds step took right off and was done in a day....those lasy first generation yeast

So I was doing a little listening back, and realized I threw some bogus information. I said the bitter I was brewing was from Riverwalk brewing, but I was wrong. It is from Macleod Ale Brewing (The Session 9/15/14 @ 1:45).

I will never trust you again..... :)

Just chilling a california common. First one of those I have brewed in years. Going to repitch the yeast into a large baltic porter around Halloween.

Which yeast? This sounds like a very good strategy. I love a good Baltic Porter and cal common
