Have I mentioned that my gas stove rocks?!

I didn't feel like brewing outside yesterday, so I decided to give it a try on the stovetop. My turkey fryer kettle was filled to about 6.25 gallons, and one burner had no problem getting it to a very vigorous boil in about 30 minutes. This was the easiest AG brew session I've ever had and finished out at about 5 hours, even with distrations.

Cool. I tried to boil 5 gallons on an electric stove. It took about 1.5 hours to get tiny bubbles to show up. I knew I should have had a gas stove installed. :(
