New from Poconos PA

Sun Apr 27, 2014 4:35 pm

Hello fellow homebrewers.I'm from PA and new to homebrewing.I have only done two batches so far and i'm already hooked.I love heavy metal music, drinking beer, shooting guns, riding atv's and hunting.i'v listened to lots of the Brewing Network podcasts.I think i'm down to 2010 right right now.I look forward to chatting with you and learning all i can about brewing as i try to transition to all grain.i'm trying to figure out what kind of brewstand i want to go with but i'm not sure yet.I have unanswered questions i need to research first.I will be kegging my beer for the first time this weenend and am real excited and nervous about it.i dont want to screw anything up.I have learned alot from the BN and really appreciate what they do.i'v ordered lots of shirts hats and growlers to try and support them.what they do is great for craft brewing and home brewing.so i think this breakfast stout from Founders is making me blabber along with all the Goose Island i drank before it,so have a good night.

I'm about an hour or so west of the Poconos.

Welcome aboard! Love that area...and don't worry about the babbling, you will fit right in here! Don't be afraid to ask any and all questions you may have as there are a ton of great brewers here with lots of expertise that are willing to share ideas and knowledge.

Cheers!
