Got my mash going for an ESB. It has been snowing heavily for 4 days now. 2 feet plus with more to come. Should be a quick chilling time...

4.5 hr brewday from very start to last cleanup even with a mash out and shitty immersion chiller. I love brewing easy beers.

Nightmare of a brew day for me so far :(

Lets see:
1. I spilled about a pound of grain adding it to the mash
2. melted my hose that feeds my RIMS.
3. Only added 4.1 gallons of water to my mash instead of 5.1. I use RO and don't have anymore made up.
4. Started brewing, but I just realized I have to take my daughter to gymnastics in another hour.

I think I'm just going to call it a day.....

It's looking that way :)

I decided that I'll just do a mash out and let it sit for 3 hours then boil when I get back, I hope that it's okay. Some how I still hit my numbers even after losing the grain....

Getting ready to sparge my Heady topper clone.

That is a lot of hops! just over 10 ounces for a 6 gallon batch + the hop extract.
