You need to level up a bit more before you can PM. Head over to new user section and introduce yourself.

hey spider thanks for the mention and i shall stick to the code . BTW the home brew im drinking now is one that i shall be sending and i must say im very proud of it. I was wondering however if it would be a good idea to include a small write up on each beer you send?
Thanks

In the past that's been suggested but not required. Including your forum name is always a good idea though. I think the only biggie was if you want feedback ask for it & if the person doesn't ask for it, don't give it.

Yes, if you wish to include recipe info, your recipient would probably appreciate that (assuming they like it  ), but you can be as anonymous as you want. Once you have the name and address of the person to ship to, you can just send off beer that mysteriously arrives at their house, or you can reach out to them to see what their favorite style is, or if they've been dying to try something you can get commercially that they can't... it's up to you guys. I typically DON'T contact them ahead of time, just cause I think it's more fun that way, but I'll pull up http://www.seekabrew.com and see what commercial distribution looks like in our respective states and try to send something I really enjoy that I'm fairly sure they can't get regularly in addition to whatever homebrew I send.

As OZW says, if you wish to receive feedback, ask for it... by the same token, don't give feedback if it isn't asked for. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything... unless they asked for it."
